Supplier Code of Conduct

ASL Aviation Holdings DAC, its subsidiaries and all its employees (“we”) aspire to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct.  This commitment is embodied in the following key values that permeate our long-term strategies and daily activities:

  • Safety
  • People
  • Reliability
  • Quality
  • Profitability

We aim to always apply good judgement in everything we do.

We expect all of our suppliers, business partners, agents and contractors who do business with any company or division of the ASL Group (our “Partners”), to adhere to the same legal and ethical standards. For this purpose, ASL has produced this Supplier Code of Conduct which sets the minimum standards for doing business with any Group company.

Safety

We expect our Partners to appreciate that safety is of primary importance and therefore the responsibility of all of us.  We expect our Partners to have implemented a robust safety protocol and to speak up whenever they become aware of situations or practices that might result in injury.

Honesty and trust

We expect our Partners to have established company policies and procedures which are adhered to as part of their general business practice.  We expect our Partners to always act with honesty and integrity when performing their work and to trust others to do the same.

Respect

We expect our Partners to treat all of our customers, suppliers and colleagues with the highest level of respect and professionalism.  We expect our Partners not discriminate against anyone based on their race, gender, sexual orientation or disability.  We expect that our Partners do not tolerate any bullying or harassment in the workplace.

Bribery and corruption

We expect that our Partners do not accept or offer any inducements, beyond what is considered normal business practice, to secure any business transactions or relationships.  We expect our Partners to take every care to protect ASL assets from misuse and theft.

Fair competition

We expect our Partners to compete fairly with their competitors and do not engage in illegal or dishonest business practices.  This means, for example, that our Partner should never collude with competitors to fix margins, agree to restrict our capacity in order to limit customer choice or provide fictitious cover-pricing as part of open tenders.

Compliance with laws

We expect our Partners to comply with all laws applicable to their business, and in particular, we comply with relevant laws relating to anti-money laundering, sanctions and export controls, and acceptable labour practices including prohibition of child and forced labour, fair working conditions and health & safety.

Environment

We expect our Partners to comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards and ensure that we have in place an effective system to identify and eliminate potential hazards to the environment.

Data protection and information security

We expect our Partners to with all applicable laws relating to data security, including the General Data Protection Regulation, and commit to information security practices and safeguards to ensure that data we hold is safeguarded from loss or improper use or access.
